Vivian and Anthony traveled to Nashville, Tennessee for a weekend getaway, not knowing this trip would change their life forever...

When Vivian, a self-proclaimed “foodie”, had her first taste of Nashville Hot Chicken, she saw the potential in it. She was inspired to devise her own best version of Nashville hot chicken.  After arriving home from Nashville, Vivian and Anthony bought themselves a fryer, though having limited experience with frying. They invited a few friends over to taste the first recipe of her Nashville Hot Chicken. In their old apartment the windows only cracked open a few inches, and the smell of cooked food lingered in the apartment for days. Discouraged by the smell and results, they waited to move before they could cook again. Since then, Vivian and Anthony has hosted countless “test kitchens” over the years inviting her friends and family and frying her best version of Nashville Hot Chicken from her 3rd floor apartment deck.
